A Humboldt Tradition since 1971…
IIn 1971, ‘Joy to The World’ by Three Dog Night was topping the charts, Bob Marley and the Wailers released their ‘Best of” album, the “Race to Space” was in full swing and the first commercially available microprocessor was created. Locally, some of the world’s largest trees were growing in the lost coast and Pacific Paraphernalia was opened in Arcata.
Today, the world could use a little more joy, Bob Marley’s music - particularly, the spirit of peace and love in which it was made - lives on, and we carry more computing power in our pockets than existed on the Apollo missions. Today, Humboldt County and the Emerald Triangle grows the world’s best “tree” of a different sort and Pacific Paraphernalia is now Pacific Paradise.
As one of the state’s oldest continuously operating smoke shops, we view the idea of being “A Humboldt Tradition” as an honor and privilege. Almost 50 years later we continue to carry the heritage of the region into the21 st century. As a cannabis dispensary we proudly support flower from Humboldt County and the Emerald Triangle.
If you’ve been around awhile, when you come back into Paradise, you will notice a fresh look, updated fixtures, and much of the artwork has been preserved and showcased. What has not changed is the vibe, we are still serving the finest Humboldt has to offer to Humboldt’s finest consumers. At Pacific Paradise, we are looking forward to continuing to serve those of us who have been coming in for years as well as those of us that are just now learning about all that our beautiful lost coast has to offer.
